			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Methow Valley received between 2 and 4 feet of snow in the past two weeks. The trails have all been groomed and are in fabulous shape.   Everything is white, clean and covered in a quiet blanket of snow.   You can have the country’s largest network (120 miles) of groomed ski trails almost to yourself.</p>
<p>I’ve been out quite a bit in the last couple of days on steep trails I only ski when the conditions are right.   This includes the Winthrop Trail to Sun Mountain, the Community Trail to Brown’s Farm, and the Rendezvous trails <a href="http://www.mvsta.com/rendmap.html">http://www.mvsta.com/rendmap.html</a> from Mazama to Gunn Ranch.   The last one has 2,000’ of climbing with spectacular views.    The Rendezvous also has a series of winter ski huts and I got to meet a fun group from Tonasket, Washington staying at the Grizzly Hut.  At that point I was tired and wished I had been able to stay too.</p>
<p>All this snow almost guarantees we’ll have good skiing in the Methow for some time to come so you should put that in your planning calendar for February.   Let us at the Methow Valley Inn know if we can help you plan an adventure.</p>
